Series Scope and Content Summary

This series contains framed labels that feature company names, company brands, and specific imagery created for citrus industry bushels that were used for transportation and harvesting. Prominent cities featured include Riverside, Redlands, Corona, and others located throughout the Inland Empire. Some of the featured brands include the Gold Buckle Association, Corona Foothill Lemon Company, Rialto Orange Company, Mutual Orange Distributors, and others. The labels feature oranges, lemons, grapefruits, apples, and other fruit varieties. Please note that some labels in this series contain offensive, harmful, or otherwise outdated imagery/language pertaining to race and gender.
