Biographical Note
The Ramona-Alessandro Alumni Association is a group of former students and teachers from Ramona Elementary School and Alessandro Junior High School located in San Bernardino, California between 1924-1953. Both schools mainly served the Latinx and non-English speaking students who lived in San Bernardino west of Mount Vernon Avenue. In 1975, Ramona Elementary School was closed as a result of the 1933 Earthquake Act. Ramona-Alessandro was rebuilt and opened as an elementary school. The Alumni Association held reunions from 1994 to 1998.
