Collection on the Tournament of Roses
This collection contains calendars, memorabilia, postcards, and souvenir programs pertaining to the Tournament of Roses, a celebration started in 1890 by the Valley Hunt Club in Pasadena, California to promote the city's charm and weather for tourism. Materials, spanning from 1950-1985, contain historical images and documentation of the annual Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game including coverage of the parade floats, event participants, football teams, and related festivities.
